Matchplay Winners 2019
Last weekend saw the Matchplay Finals fought at a slightly damp Burton on Trent GC. Given the weather they had to contend with, Burton did the County proud and every match was completed on schedule. Many thanks to all at the club.
The three events saw the Men, Senior Men and Ladies battle it out over two days of highly competitive golf. At the end of Sunday the three winners emerged, pictured above.
Graham Coppen (L), defeated County President, Paul Longden in the Senior Men's Final, Hannah Morrison overcame a spirited Lindsey Shaw at the 20th hole to capture the Ladies prize whilst James Booth (R) beat Nick Newbold to win the Men's event for the third time.
