Derbyshire county girls - 2024 



Hi I’m Izzie, i am very proud to be your captain this year, I hope to be able to play more this year for the county, particularly once my exams are over. I have been playing golf since the age of 7, starting on the futures tour and took up golf because of my big sister. I had a great season last year winning bronze medal at the R&A under 16 amateur, followed by selection for Great Britain and Ireland in the junior vagliano trophy vs Europe. It was a dream come to true to be selected for this and has been the highlight of my golfing career. I look forward to seeing you all at the county matches. We have a fantastic team and hopefully we will do really well this year !

Hi I’m Jemima and along with Izzy Kelly I’m this years Derbyshire Girls Scratch Team Captain. I began playing golf around 5 years ago on the Derbyshire Futures Tour and was able to play at different courses around the county. I made lots of friends along the way and playing for both the girls and ladies County teams is a great way to meet new people. I am really looking forward to what the new season will bring.
