Isobel Kelly debuts for Wales!
Isobel Kelly was selected to play for Wales under14 /16s in challenge match against Scotland a few days ago. This was bit of a surprise to both her and her parents. She played with Harriet Lockley (ranked 2 in Europe at her age group and +1 handicap ). Despite the nerves they both played great golf as team winning in the morning foursomes. Playing with Harriet boosted her confidence and Isobel followed up winning her singles match in the afternoon . She was sent out first on the Sunday morning singles and she battled back from losing the first 2 holes to win again 4 and 2, a stunning performance. The match ended in a draw. Considering her age, father Simon was very apprehensive at first but realises now how wrong he was as she remained unbeaten throughout.!!
